Boca Dam and Reservoir are features of the Truckee Storage Project. The reservoir is on the Little Truckee River, 27 miles southwest of Reno, Nevada. Open year-round (frozen during winter). A surface area of approximately 980 acres at full reservoir storage. Fishing season is year-round, with ice fishingfishing during the winter. Available species include kokanee salmon, rainbow, brook, and brown trout. Access by paved road. Handicap access ramp with platforms for fishingfishing opportunities when the reservoir level is high enough.
