Twin Buttes Reservoir
Twin Buttes Dam and Reservoir, San Angelo Project, are immediately upstream from the Nasworthy Reservoir, about 6 miles southwest of San Angelo, Texas. Twin Buttes Dam controls the flows of the South and Middle Concho Rivers and Spring Creek. When full, the lake provides approximately 23,000 acres of water surface. Accessible from numerous roads. Several boat ramps and some camping facilities. Open year-round for fishing. Available species include bass, crappie, sunfish, catfish, carp, shad, and drum.Recreation at the site is managed for the Bureau of Reclamation by the City of San Angelo. Current reservoir levels.
