Coyote Point Group Campground is located at New Hogan Lake on the
Calaveras River in the Sierra Foothill region of central California.
Water skiers enjoy excellent skiing along the 50 miles of shoreline, and
there is year round fishing for stripers, bass, crappie, blue gill, and
catfish. A golf course is 2 miles away from the campground. A watchable
wildlife site where bald eagles may be viewed is also in the vicinity.
Additional amenities include hot showers, an amphitheater,
bike trails, interpretive trail, boat launch, horse trails,
18 hole frisbe golf course and and fish cleaning facilities.
