Description:

For sale is a hand made ultralight camping stove made from 5.5oz beverage cans. It is 2" wide and 1.5" tall, and weighs only 8 grams.  This stove is the smalles stove I offer, because you know the only true luxury taking grams off of your back.  In fact, once you buy this stove you will take it apart to shave a few more grams off of it.Like all alcohol stoves this one is a snap to use.  Fill with approximately 1oz of denatured alcohol and light.  In under 10 seconds the flame will move to the side jets and get dramatically larger.  After that you can carefully balance your cooking pot on top and boil water for tea, ramen, or other simple cooking tasks.  Please note as this stove is narower than the other stoves I offer it requires more care to keep it stable.  Or you can just make your self a coat hainger pot stand.  Great for warm drinks on day hikes. Also makes a great addition to any emergency kit, like the one you keep in your kitchen when you are having roasted marshmallow withdrawls. Or the one in the back of the car used when you desperately need a cup of tea while at the park. Please keep in mind that this product is not green, as I have polished off the green paint that was on the juice cans. Paint will burn and look bad after a while. Read up on the basics of how this works before you buy!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beverage-can_stoveOh, and a word of warning, if you need to extinguish one of my stoves put an empty pan upside down on top of it to snuff it out.  Blowing it out will result in it skittering away from you and tipping over, spilling burning alcohol all over the place...not like I ever made that mistake or anything...I just wanted you to know. And remember each camp stove I sell supports getting them out of my apartment!Happy camping!
