The Stove is NOT Included in this auction, but it shown here so you can see how the oven is used.Up for sale is one brand new Butterfly oven, model #2421. There is nothing else like it on the market. Coleman makes a flimsy fold-up oven, but the Butterfly's design is far superior. The Butterfly design includes air-insulated sides, back and top. This means there is an air space that completely surrounds the inside cooking area. There are also venting holes on the inside that create a convective air current inside the oven. The air-insulated spaces result in a more even temperature throughout the entire oven, so you don't end up with bread that is black on the bottom and uncooked on top.This is a sturdy oven, too. I haven't tried it, but I believe it would hold at least a 50-lb weight - maybe more. Once assembled, it is very solid and weighs in around 11 pounds. These include the 24xx series (2413, 2418, 2419, 2415, 2417), the #2648 double-burner, and the #2487 stove. These stoves are designed to hold the oven firmly in place so it does not fall or slide off the stove. Customer feedback is that the oven works well on all the recommended stoves, but the highest temperatures can be obtained on the #2487 stove.You can use the oven with other stoves with some care to not tip it, or you can build a little stand using rocks or blocks to hold the oven steady.The oven does not fold up.I have many other kerosene stoves for sale, plus an oven that can be used to bake bread on a kerosene stove. I also sell the Butterfly brand Pressure Lantern - it produces between 300 and 400 watts of light using kerosene.
