I have attached the pillow with a short triple stitched ribbon because if your children are anything like mine the pillow would be missing the first day. The out side is made with 100% cotton while the inside is a nice cozy warm fleece for that special little pet. The pillow also has a little bit of batting to give the puffy pillow effect. This item is machine washable. This item is only intended for children over 4 years of age.
