When in doubt, always go with a bag with a slightly lower rating than you think you will need. You can always unzip the bag to let some air in if it is too warm    Sleeping pads-this is a sometimes overlooked but essential component of keeping you warm and comfortable. The pad will act as a buffer between you and the cold ground as well as reduce the compression of the fibers of your bag. The more air the fibers can hold means more insulation and more warmth. It also extends the life of your bag. Thermal underwear-it’s a good idea to wear socks and light underwear while sleeping. It keeps your bare skin from contacting the bag so you stay warmer and it keeps body oils off the sleeping bag so it stays cleaner and lasts longer. In colder temperatures, you may want to sleep in heavier pants and even a jacket. Do whatever it takes to keep you warm and protected Paypal is the preferred payment method.
